What is Plaid Points?
Plaid Points is our free rewards program for makers. Earn 1 point for every $1 you spend, and every 100 points turns into a $5 reward. Members also get exclusive offers and surprises to keep the creativity going.
How do I join Plaid Points?
If you already have a Plaid account, you're in! New here? Create an account in just a few steps and we'll add 10 bonus points to get you started.
What perks do members get?
All members earn 1 point per $1 spent, get 10 points just for joining, and receive a $5 reward for every 100 points. Watch your inbox for member-only offers and a birthday treat. Plus, level up to earn even more when you spend more in a calendar year
What do I need to create an account?
Just your email, first and last name, and date of birth so we can send your birthday reward.
How do I hear about rewards and offers?
We send rewards and special offers by email. When you create an account, make sure to sign up for our newsletter. To double-check, log in, go to Newsletters, make sure General Subscription is selected, and save.
How do I reach Creative Insider or Plaid Pro?
Spend $100 in a calendar year to become a Creative Insider. Spend $200 to become Plaid Pro. Higher tiers unlock birthday point multipliers, seasonal savings, early access, and bonus rewards.
Will I keep my tier all year?
Yes. Your tier lasts through the end of the year. On January 1, your annual spend resets and you'll need to re-qualify with new purchases.
When will my $5 reward show up?
Rewards post to your Plaid Points account when your order ships, in $5 increments.
How do I redeem a reward?
Log in and go to My Account → My Rewards. Select a $5 reward, copy the code, and paste it at checkout. Your order subtotal must be higher than the reward amount (before shipping and taxes).
What happens to my points if I return something?
If you return an item, we remove that amount from your annual spend and deduct any rewards earned from that purchase. Your balance may look negative until you earn more points.
Can I share my rewards with someone else?
No. Rewards are tied to your account and can't be transferred or refunded.
Do $5 rewards expire?
No. Once a $5 reward is issued, it never expires. Use it whenever you're ready.
Do points expire?
Yes. Points expire 365 days after they're earned. If you're subscribed to emails, we'll remind you before they expire.
Can I use a reward with a sale or promo code?
You can apply a reward to sale items as long as your subtotal is higher than the reward value. Only one code can be used per order.
How do point multipliers work for higher tiers?
We sometimes offer 3x or 4x points on select products. Multipliers apply to the base earn rate of 1 point per $1 and are calculated per eligible item. Tier bonus points are added separately.
What are Seasonal Savings Events?
These are limited-time discounts for higher-tier members. Creative Insiders save 25% and Plaid Pros save 30%. Savings appear in your account as a reward code. Make sure you're signed up for the newsletter so you'll know when events begin.
How can I earn bonus points?
Check the Plaid Points page for extra ways to earn. Follow Plaid on social, refer a friend, or share your projects when bonus offers are live.
What is the Monthly Chance to Win a Prize?
Plaid Pro members are automatically entered to win a prize pack worth up to $50. Prizes vary and can't be redeemed for cash or rewards. Winners are notified by email.
Are there any exclusions for Plaid Points?
Yes. The Plaid Points program is not valid for wholesale purchases or accounts.
